From Spring to Fall the tennis courts are for member use. We urge everyone to renew their memberships and use this great facility. We are excited to announce that starting in the second week of May until the end of the summer, our tennis pro (Paul James – see bio below) will be at the courts most weekdays and on weekends to supervise play, conduct lessons and organize matches. By May 9 you can check the notice board at the courts and also our tennis blogspot (http://laurierheightstennis.blogspot.ca) for news on programming (including the very popular learn to play lessons for children which will run in July and August). Please email either Paul or Terry Daniel (email@example.com), our tennis coordinator, to ask questions or express your interest in new tennis programming.
Paul grew up in Edmonton as a part of a prominent tennis family in the community. He was a nationally ranked junior player and went on to become a member of the Golden Bears University team that has competed across North America. He is a certified Tennis Alberta coach with 6 years of experience and has conducted the Laurier School programs for several recent springs. Paul is excited to be working at our beautiful courts this summer and to be a part of this vibrant community.
