Annual Community Clean Up Day AND Plant Exchange!
Saturday May 7, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 pm
Laurier Heights community members are invited to help us clean up our common areas and meet some neighbours! Please bring gloves and wear closed-toe shoes. Garbage bags will be provided.
During the clean up, our Talking Gardens will be hosting
a plant exchange and Club signup.
This week as you begin to assess your gardens, please watch for plants that have self-seeded or need division. Perhaps you joined the Pollinator Patch Challenge last year and have discovered that the plants have spread? Perhaps you have started more seedlings than you need? Instead of discarding these plants, please pot them up and donate them to your community. Be sure to label the pot with plant name, colour, perennial or annual. And exchange for some seeds/sprouts that you would like to try! We look forward to talking gardens together!
Tours of the edible forest will also be offered.
And don’t forget to stick around for a hot dog roast at noon!!
